According to the ancient Scriptures science a person who is an authority in the field of Spirituality is known as a Guru.
To cross the ocean of life, we need a boat in the form of a Guru, thus every one of us need a Guru who can guide and protect his disciples to overcome their problems and calamities.

Pondicherry is a holy place which has Mahasamadhis of 32 saints. Blessed are the people of Pondicherry that, they have got one such great saint’s birth over there in this modern century i.e. Sri Ramananda Bharathi Swamiji. Sri Swamiji is the second son of Smt. Kantimathi & Shri Venkata Subramaniam. Sri Swamiji at his young age as a bachelor, undertook ‘Sanyaasa Deeksha’, upon the advice of his guru,
Sri Shivachidananda Bharathi Swami of ‘Sri Siddheswari Peetham, Courtallam, Tamil Nadu’, who foresaw a bright future for him.
After taking sanyaasa deeksha, Sri Ramananda Bharathi Swamiji was appointed as Darmadhikari of Sri Lalitha Peetham,Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh from (1998-2003). During this period Sri Lalitha Peetham of Visakhapatnam got developed in leaps and bounds under the able administration of H H Sri Ramananda Bharathi Swamy who was very proficient in all administrative and legal matters and also, Sri Swamiji actively involved in various service activities at different temples. He was formally initiated by his guru, Sri Shivachidananda Bharathi Swami, into the complex and supreme Sri Vidya Upasana which is notable among the many events in his life. He performed Laksha Gayatri Japa in Varanasi, prior to Sanyaasa Deeksha within a short span of 6 months as per the requirements of Chandraayana Vratam. Sri Swamiji has since been expertly conducting many homas and poojas, rituals, guiding devotees in the observance of various festivals, vratas and educating them on reason behind in the intricacies of our Sanatana Dharama.
Some of Sri Swamiji’s services and activities include, but are not limited to, in performing Sri Pratyangira Homa, Sri Chandi Homa, Sri Saura Homa, Sudarshana Homa, Santhi Pooja, Parihara Pooja, etc., for alleviating the hardships of devotees and for ensuring successes in their day to day life. Sri Swamiji also performs his daily pooja, nitya anusthanam, parayanam, etc. Sri Swamiji has been conducting these rituals strictly according to the scriptures of our Sanathana Dharma.
